MobiFone
MobiFone was established on April 16, 1993 with the initial name of Mobile Information Company. On December 1, 2014, the Company was transformed into MobiFone Telecommunications Corporation, under the Ministry of Information and Communications, doing business in the fields of: traditional telecommunications services, VAS, Data, Internet & communication IPTV/cable TV, corporate products, information technology services, retail and distribution, and foreign investment.
In Vietnam, MobiFone is one of the three largest mobile networks with more than 30% market share.

Vinaphone
Telecommunications Service Company is a company under Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group (VNPT) operating in the field of mobile communication, providing GSM, 3G, messaging,... and many more services. other fields, with the trade name is Vinaphone. The company was established on June 26, 1996.
By the end of 2008, VinaPhone was the third largest mobile network in Vietnam, accounting for 20% of the mobile information market (after Mobifone with 41%, Viettel with 34%). According to VnExpress, Vinaphone is a mobile network of state officials with a large part of customers in this group.
On August 11, 2015, VNPT Telecommunications Service Corporation - Vinaphone was officially launched with the goal of developing VNPT to the No. 1 position in the telecommunications and IT market in Vietnam.
In 2018, VinaPhone became the second largest mobile operator in Vietnam, accounting for 21% of the mobile market, Viettel 60%, Mobifone 18%.

Gmobile's predecessor is Beeline, currently the Gmobile brand is owned by Gtel Mobile. Gtel Mobile is again owned by Global Telecommunications Corporation (Gtel), a state-owned joint stock company under the Ministry of Public Security.
